Account Manager
Job Description:
The Garage Door Industry Is in a Gold Rush. We're Leading It.
Private equity is buying up garage door companies at a pace the industry has never seen. That capital is driving up the cost of leads, reshaping how companies compete, and forcing every garage door business to evolve — fast.
Most marketing agencies don't understand this. They treat garage door companies like any other home service business — same playbook they'd use for a plumber or a roofer. They don't understand that a $3M independent competing against a PE-backed regional rollup needs a completely different strategy than a locksmith trying to rank on Google.
We do.
Garage Door Marketing Lab is the only marketing agency built exclusively for the garage door industry. Our clients are garage door companies doing $1M–$10M+ in revenue — independents fighting to stay competitive and growth-stage operators positioning for scale. We build the marketing systems that drive profitable growth, and we've posted industry-record ROAS results doing it.
We're also pushing this industry forward with AI. Every team member uses Claude.ai, Manus.ai, and custom automations built into our workflows. If you're excited about AI and how it's changing the way agencies operate, you'll fit right in.
Our brand is inspired by Apple, Porsche, and REI: premium, modern, best-in-class.
If you know the garage door industry — the seasonality, the PE dynamics, the difference between a torsion spring repair and a new install — keep reading. We built this role for someone like you.
The Role
You'll be our clients' primary point of contact — their coach, their advocate, and the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. You co-lead a POD (team unit) alongside a Project Manager, sharing responsibility for your clients' success.
Your week:
- Tuesdays: Deep-dive into client ad performance, lead quality, and campaign health
- Wednesdays: Send concise Weekly Marketing Updates (WMUs) to every client
- Thursdays: Run your Scorecard in our L10 meeting (we run on EOS)
- Monthly: Lead 45-minute client meetings on Zoom + Loom video reports
- Daily: Monitor client health, respond within 7 business hours, keep Asana current, coordinate with your POD
What You'll Be Measured On
- Client meetings held per week — Goal: 10
- Client show rate — Goal: 90%
- Escalations to CEO — Goal: 0
- Escalations with a solution attached — Goal: 100%
- WMUs groomed before sending — Goal: Yes

- Comfortable explaining PPC, SEO, and Meta Ads to business owners
- Comfortable with AI tools and eager to use them daily

Strong Advantages
- Garage door industry experience — whether you've worked at a garage door company, marketed for one, or sold into the space, this gives you a major edge
- Digital marketing agency experience

You start full-time at 40 hours/week with a 90-day probationary period. You'll learn our systems, shadow client meetings, and complete review tasks for your manager.
By Day 90: You are 100% self-sufficient — running accounts, leading meetings, sending WMUs, and managing your Scorecard without daily guidance.

To Apply
Send a 2-minute Loom video introducing yourself and telling us why you want this role. You MUST say the exact phrase "The Epstein Files are crazy" within the first 3 seconds of your video. This is how we know you pay attention to detail — applications without it will not be reviewed.
Bonus points if you can tell us something about the garage door industry that most people don't know.
